Tanned in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this is a truly special leather that we are excited to finally add to our collection for 2026. We did run a micro-batch of a very similar leather in 2025 with Horween®, but they are no longer producing that article. The \u003c\/span\u003eleather is a true vegetable tanned “shrunken-grain” American bison leather that is 100% natural and naked without dye. The leather is vegetable tanned and tumbled with waxes and vegetable tanning extracts that gives the leather it's \"Light Tan\" color.  The grain pattern and color is outstanding and the leather has a nice, firm temper ideal for bags. The beauty of a true, 100% veg-tanned natural leather is really how the leather will \"Patina\", age and wear.
